It Usually Takes More Than One Conversation
Health insurance is complicated and expensive. Which doctors will treat you. How much the plan pays for that treatment. What the premium does to your monthly budget. What happens to all of it when something serious comes up.

We do not think you can answer those questions in one call, so we do not try. We start with what you expect from your insurance, from your doctors, and from the way claims and out-of-pocket costs get handled. Then we come back with research and keep going until the answers are clear.

For some people that is a few days. For others it is a few weeks. It depends on your situation and how soon a decision has to be made. Either way, you are not picking a plan off a mailer or a call-center script.

That is why most people get our name from someone we already work with.
What We Look At Before We Recommend a Plan
We have relationships with the major carriers, which means we can research across them instead of selling one company's products. The research is built on three things.
Your Medications
Every plan prices drugs differently. We run your actual list before you enroll, not after.

Your Doctors
We check that the providers you want to keep are in the network, and what it costs if one is not.

Your Lifestyle
Whether you travel, spend part of the year up north, see specialists often, or rarely go to the doctor at all. The right plan looks different for each.
The Number Most People Misread
Most people see "maximum out of pocket" on a plan and assume it is a deductible they have to pay before the insurance starts working.

It is the opposite. The maximum out of pocket is a ceiling. It is the most you can be asked to pay in a year, so that a serious illness or an accident does not turn into an unlimited bill. It is protection for you, not a hurdle.

We bring this up because it is the kind of thing nobody explains, and it changes how people feel about the plan they are looking at. Understanding what a number does is the difference between choosing a plan and guessing.

Independent, and Paid by the Carrier
We are paid by the insurance carrier when you enroll, not by you
Your premium is the same whether you enroll through us or on your own
We are not tied to one company, so we can compare across many

We Are Still Here After You Enroll
Enrollment is where most agents stop. It is where the useful part starts. We tell every client to call with questions after they are on a plan, whether that is a bill that looks wrong, a specialist they need, or a form they do not understand.

One client does not use a computer much. When she needs a specialist, she calls, and we put the provider list together for her. We can also tell her which of those doctors other clients in her area have seen and been happy with. That is something a website cannot do.

Another client called about a $400 bill for an office visit. One phone call to the practice showed they had the wrong insurance on file. Her copay had already covered it.
This is what we mean when we say our clients are a community. Over time, we all know more about how insurance actually works in Palm Beach County.

Start With a Conversation
Bring your medication list and the doctors you want to keep. That is all we need to get started. If you are not ready to decide, that is fine. Most people are not on the first call.
